Pan Crusted New York Strip

New York Strip Steak

Ingredients
  • 4 New York Strip Steaks (8oz each)
  • ½ c Pinot Grigio
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1 T Cracked Peppercorns
  • 1 t Garlic Salt
  • 1 T Pasture Butter
  • 1 T Olive Oil
Instructions
  1. Season and rub Steak on Both Sides with pepper, salt and garlic.
  2. Heat skillet with butter and oil. Add Steak to hot skillet and allow to crust on each side.
  3. Turn the steak only once. Once both sides are crusted, add pinot and cover. Cook 5 minutes or so. Remove lid and allow remaining wine to cook out.
  4. Rub steaks in remaining juices in pan and place on plate.
  5. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes for a medium steak. Cover with foil after removing from pan for medium well steak.
