Sweet Garlic Chicken

This chicken is so tender and delicious, and the au jus it creates is amazing!
Ingredients
- 4 whole chicken legs (thigh and drumstick)
- 1 t Tamari
- ⅓ c raw local honey
- 5 cloves minced garlic
- 1 t dried basil
- 1 t dried oregano
- sea salt and pepper to taste
- 1 T extra virgin olive oil
- 15 oz organic bone stock
- ¼ c white cooking wine
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
- In a dutch oven, heat oil to high temp.
- Add garlic to hot pan and add chicken immediately.
- Brown chicken on both sides.
- Add wine.
- Drizzle chicken with honey.
- Add bone stock.
- Cook 5 minutes on high to reduce.
- Cover and cook in oven for 30 minutes or until internal temperature has reached 165F.
