Hey everyone! To beat the summer heat, this week we are featuring a refreshing fruit treat the whole family will enjoy. This Watermelon Poolside Pie is not only delicious but also simple and fun! Try it out and let us know what the family thinks…
Ingredients:
- 1 small-medium seedless watermelon
- 6 oz blackberries
- 6 oz strawberries, sliced
- 6 oz sheep or goat yogurt, plain or vanilla
- 2 T sliced almonds
Step 1: Slice watermelon into 1 inch circles.
Step 2: Spoon yogurt onto each slice and spread evenly across meat of watermelon.
Step 3: Slice berries.
Step 4: Add sliced blackberries and strawberries on top of yogurt.
Step 5: Sprinkle sliced almonds evenly across pies.
Step : Cool in refrigerator for 1 hour (optional), cut into slices, and serve!
