This week’s feature is out of this world. The sweet raspberries and tart cranberries make it reminiscent of Thanksgiving, but the jalapeños and cilantro give it the heat you never knew was missing! We have it pictured with turkey bacon chips in typical “turkey and cranberries” fashion. For optimal digestion, however, it would be better to pair it with sweet potato chips so as not to mix animal protein with fruit. I’ve tasted it with both, and the flavor combos are excellent!
- 6 oz frozen organic cranberries
- 6 oz frozen organic raspberries
- 2 jalapeño peppers
- 1 small red onion
- ¼ c cilantro
- 1 t sea salt
- ⅓ c organic orange juice
- juice of two limes
Step 1: Slice jalapeños and remove seeds.
Step 2: Slice the limes in half and squeeze juice into blender.
Step 3: Add all ingredients into blender, and blend until desired consistency is reached.
Step 4: Serve and enjoy!
