Buffalo Beef Chili

This chili dish combines buffalo meat and beef with veggies and spices to create a savory, warm meal that is very filling and satisfying!
Ingredients
- 1 T Coconut Oil
- ½ c Onion, chopped
- ½ c Celery, chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 c Green Pepper, chopped
- 2 t Oregano
- 3 t Chili Powder
- 2 t Ground Cumin
- ½ t paprika
- 1 t Sea Salt
- 1 8 oz Can Organic Crushed-Tomatoes
- ¾ lb Ground Buffalo
- ¾ lb Ground Beef
- ½ Cup goat cheddar or manchego cheese, shredded
Instructions
- In a large skillet melt oil and saute onions, celery, garlic, and peppers 3 - 4 minutes until onion is translucent.
- Add ground buffalo, ground beef, oregano, chili powder,paprika, and cumin.
- Continue cooking, stirring frequently for 5 - 6 minutes.
- Pour salt and tomatoes into pot.
- Cover, reduce heat and simmer for a minimum of 1 hour for best flavor.
- Garnish with grated cheese.
