Featured Recipe: Paleo Bacon-Wrapped Sausage

In my house, we are always looking for new finger foods that are both Dr. Brown approved AND kid approved. These bacon-wrapped sausage links are just that and very versatile for an any-time-of-day protein-packed meal or snack. For breakfast serve with maple syrup, or for lunch or dinner serve with guacamole or ketchup. Because we suggest using turkey bacon and non-pork sausage, this recipe is also much better for you than you might have originally thought!

Ingredients:
  • 1 t olive oil
  • 1 package organic,  uncured turkey bacon
  • 4 organic chicken, turkey or beef sausage links
  • 2 T pure maple syrup, optional for breakfast
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste
