They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and yet so many of us either skip it or fill up with sugary junk as we are zooming out the door every morning. On Reboot21, breakfast must be made a priority! We have allowed some flexibility with this meal since we know everyone’s morning routine is different, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t expecting you to follow Dr. Brown’s guidelines when selecting your breakfast meal. We have provided 10 of our favorite recipes plus some pantry staples below to set you up for success and help you add variety to your menu.

Staple Breakfast Grocery Items

  • Organic, Pasture-Raised Eggs
  • Dr. Brown Approved Breakfast Sausage
  • Organic, Uncured Turkey Bacon
  • Organic Fruit (for smoothies)
  • Organic Vegetables (for omelets)

*Don’t be afraid to eat non-conventional meats (chicken, beef, etc.) and vegetables for breakfast. While not customary in our culture aside from the omelet and the occasional steak and eggs, animal protein and vegetables are the ideal foods to start your day with. Leftovers are always a quick and easy option as well! If you opt for a fruit based breakfast, make sure you eat a heartier snack (preferably animal protein) within an hour or two to keep blood sugar levels stable.
