Stock up that pantry for Dr. Brown approved meals!

Can you believe it?! Our meal planning and educational website is finally here!! We are beyond stoked. For several months now, our team has been busy cooking and doing all the behind the scenes prep so you can have this amazing service just in time for the new school year.  I hope you spend some time browsing the new site and getting familiar with all the new features. Make sure and sign up for at least The Sampler Membership so you can get a glimpse of what our meal plans will look like. First complete meal plan will be released THIS Friday! I so hope you will join us in this journey to Dr. Brown approved cooking and living!

Through this process, I have learned quite a few things that I think will help you all in your transition to implementing the Dr. Brown  diet  (lifestyle, rather) in your home. One of those things being how to stock your pantry with the necessary items found in many of our Dr. Brown approved recipes. So here is a useful list for you below:

Top Ten Pantry/Fridge Essentials*

1. Dr. Brown Approved Cooking Oils like Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and Avocado Oil

2.  Pasture Butter

3.  Almond Flour

4. Pure Maple Syrup

5. Raw Unfiltered Honey

6. Dr. Brown Approved Goat or Sheep Cheese, such as Manchego

7. Coconut Milk

8. Coconut Flour

9. Organic Pasture-Raised Eggs

10. Wheat-Free Sauces like Tamari, Worcesterchire, and Coconut Aminos

*Dr. Brown always recommends to buy organic, when available

The above items are absolute staples at our house, and recently, in an effort to save money and trips to the grocery store, I have been trying to buy our staples in bulk from Costco. So I was excited to find all of the following in my last trip to the good ole’ wholesale warehouse!

Coconut oil

Avocado Oil

Pasture Butter

Almond Flour

Pure Organic Maple Syrup

Raw Organic Honey

Manchego, Sheep Feta, Romano and Goat Cheese

Organic, Pasture-raised Eggs

Buying the above 11 items at Costco instead of on Amazon {which is usually a little lower than traditional retail stores} would save me over $55. Woohoo!! Price of a yearly Costco membership is $55, btw, if you are interested.

I hope this list + price comparison post proves helpful for you all. Now get up and get to that store {or point and click above if you like to shop in your jammies}, so you can start making changes for your family that will help you live a more healthy, abundant life!

Cheers!
