Hi everyone! Welcome to the blog for Marpé: Holistic Wellness Solutions. I’m Kristen, an aspiring “crunchy” mommy to four beautiful kiddos. About two years ago, I approached my chiropractor and natural doctor, Dr. David Brown, of North Dallas Alternative Medicine Center with an idea to help bring his unique treatment style to the world {especially to other moms like me!}. This brainchild of mine eventually developed into our company, Marpé. Our mission is two-fold. We want to provide health conscious consumers with high-quality natural products as well as present useful information pertaining to a holistic lifestyle. The first half of that mission is coming to fruition with the recent launch of our product line, NatureKits (www.nature-kits.com), and our first kit, The Immune Support System … Go get you one! (Shameless plug, I know!)
That leads us to the second half of our mission which is where blogging comes into play. This is the first step toward our goal to host a comprehensive, interactive, educational website for our customers and anyone else interested in joining us in our attempt to raise our families naturally in an increasingly artificial world! I am so excited about this new blog! Thirty years ago I became a mother for the first time and did my very best to raise my children in the most holistic, natural way possible, starting with three beautiful, drug free home births. It would have been wonderful to have a resource like this blog back then!!! My second grandchild just came into the world last week and you can bet that I will let my son and his wife know all about this great company and it’s products. I think I know what they may be getting for Christmas….

Love the blog! I’m the mom that overcame Lyme disease through the naturopathic approach of Dr. Brown. After trying “the conventional methods” of allopathic medicine (quite a few long term rounds of antibiotics) the disease was just relentless and I continued to deal with debilitating symptoms. By building up my own immune system (instead of shutting it down by anyibiotics) through nutrition, herbs and homeopathic medicines I have been symptom free for 7 years. Lyme disease just simply doesn’t go away – it gets worse as this bacteria multiplies and overtakes its hosts.
