Featured Recipe: Bacon Deviled Eggs

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 strips turkey bacon
  • ¼t white pepper
  • ¼t sea salt
  • 1T mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 3 T paleo jarred mayo or homemade
  • 1 T minced green onion or chives
  • Paprika optional
  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Boil a pot of water.
  3. Add eggs to boiling water. Cook 15 minutes and run under cool water immediately.
  4. While eggs are boiling, add bacon to preheated oven and cook till crispy (15-17 minutes).
  5. Remove and cool.
  6. In a bowl mix mustard mayo seal salt and pepper.
  7. Peel eggs and remove yolk. Add to mayo mixture and blend well.
  8. Add yolk mixture into bag and pipe into egg halves evenly.
  9. Chop bacon and add to top of eggs.
  10. Add minced chives.
  11. Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
  12. Serve or chill.
