Sample Meal Plan

Marpe meal plans are specially designed and prepared for the Dr. Brown Diet, with healthy, natural ingredients and amazingly good food worth cooking!  Each week we will provide (4) full dinners, complete with grocery list and links to the recipes right here on the site so you can view, prepare and cook them to perfection!  You can view the current and next week in advance for those shopping more than one week ahead!  Each of our recipes has been personally cooked, tasted and enjoyed by our families to make sure they are the real deal!  Enjoy!

Sample 2 Day Meal Plan

Grilled Salmon with a Basil Butter

Sample Shopping List

Meats:

  • 4 Salmon Fillets (6oz each) – wild caught is best
  • 4 Chicken Breasts – organic, free range is best

Produce*:

  • 2-3 Small to medium Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 pound Asparagus
  • 8 cups Mixed Greens
  • 1 Red Onion
  • ¼ c Dried Cranberries
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Head of Garlic
  • 7 Tbsp of Basil
  • 1 large Lemon
  • 1 large Avocado

Dairy Section*:

  • 8 Tbsp of pasture butter
  • 1 c Dr. Brown approved cheese (goat or sheep)- Manchego is a nice mild cheese that makes a good substitute for cheddar or parmesan

Dry goods*:

  • Sea Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cinnamon
  • Tabasco
  • Onion Salt
  • Garlic Salt
  • ¼ Cup of Pine Nuts
  • 1 c Whole Pecans
  • ¼ c Maple Syrup
  • ½ c of Olive Oil
  • 2 T Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 T Terragon Vinegar
